Heya!
Thank you times a million for subscribing to List the damn salary range. Y’all have pushed the conversation forward on pay transparency, have helped me think about compensation in new ways, and have been changemakers in the way we reward team members for their work. 👏
I was shocked by how quickly and organically this newsletter grew. Right alongside it, I’ve also been growing.
I’ve been doing an unraveling of sorts about my career over the last 10 years after I found myself trapped in a cycle of burnout even while engaged in important and impactful work at the side of kind, patient people. I’ll spare everyone the nitty gritty of this self-work but I’m also very happy to talk to anyone who is curious (it was spurred by an ADHD diagnosis last summer).

I have recently started down the path of horticulture with the long-term goal of starting a landscape company focused on planting resilient, drought-tolerant gardens to support biodiversity. This is to say, you’ll likely be hearing from me less on LinkedIn and here as I get my hands dirty. If you want to follow along with this new journey, join me here.

This is still an important space and opportunity to further the conversation on pay transparency. If you’d be interested in contributing or possibly taking over the newsletter, please let me know. Hit reply or you can always, always reach me at hello@maryjantsch.com. I’m happy to serve as an editor or thought partner but also recognize that I’m moving on from being in the weeds of people ops to literal weeds.
